McLaren unveils bronze bust of Mansour Ojjeh – The bronze bust of Mansour Ojjeh has been placed alongside sculptures of Niki Lauda, team founder Bruce McLaren and three-time Formula 1 world champion Ayrton Senna.
McLaren has paid tribute to Mansour Ojjeh – who died in 2021 – by unveiling a bronze bust in the foyer of the McLaren Technology Center in Woking.
Mansour Ojjeh – a Saudi-French businessman who died aged 68 – owned the TAG Group, a major Geneva-based holding company, which is being sold in 2019, and also owned 25 percent of the high-tech McLaren Technology Group, which itself owns the McLaren Racing Formula 1 team.

Following the announcement of his death in June 2021 just before the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the McLaren team ran a race in Mansour Ojjeh’s honor in Baku and at the French Grand Prix a few days later.
Now a bronze bust of Mansour Ojjeh has been placed in the foyer of the McLaren Technology Center in Woking, right next to the bronze sculpture of Niki Lauda, as well as that of team founder Bruce McLaren and three-time F1 world champion Ayrton Senna. For the record, this trio of sculptures was commissioned by Mansour Ojjeh himself before his death.
“Today, in front of the entire team, we unveiled a bronze bust in honor of our late shareholder and long-time friend, Mansour Ojjeh. Thank you for everything you did for this team, Mansour. We miss you,” read a short message posted by McLaren on social media.
