The partnership between McLaren and Castore will no longer just be limited to Formula 1 after a new agreement was confirmed.
British apparel brand Castore took their first step into Formula 1 when they agreed a deal in 2021 to become McLaren’s Official Team Apparel and Sportswear Partner, and since then have also added Red Bull to their ranks, supplying team and fan apparel to both squads.
And now it has been confirmed by McLaren that the deal with Castore will be expanded to cover all of their real-life racing activities.
Therefore, Castore will now provide team and fan apparel for McLaren’s IndyCar, Formula E and Extreme E teams, as well as their Formula 1 team.
McLaren state that the deal will allow them to offer a merchandise range that is more seamless across their various categories.
“We are thrilled to scale up and extend our relationship with Castore,” said Lindsey Eckhouse, McLaren’s director of licensing and digital products.
“The response to our team kit and fanwear has been hugely positive, and Castore has embraced our bold McLaren identity through great collaboration and ambition.
“It’s crucial to have partners who value the power of McLaren’s racing portfolio beyond Formula 1, so we are excited to take this journey to the next level by unifying the look of our other race series.”

McLaren will be hoping for a more positive year on the track in F1 2023, having slipped a place to P5 in the 2022 Constructors’ Championship, picking up just the one podium finish courtesy of Lando Norris at the 2022 Emilia Romagna GP.
