Klipsch introduces new T5 II ANC earphones

Klipsch is launching its newest pair of earphones today and for the first time is offering active noise cancellation in the product range. The new Klipsch T5 II ANC earbuds are a fitting milestone for their 75th anniversary and come with a host of notable features as the brand’s latest flagship offerings.

The Klipsch T5 II ANC earbuds come in the true wireless form factor we’ve come to expect and feature largely the same design as we’ve seen the latest non-ANC headphones. Each of the earbuds has a compact and stem-less design that is combined with a metal charging case that is available in three different styles; Gunmetal, silver or copper.

The actual audio functions are concentrated on Dirac HD Sound compatible 5.8mm drivers paired with the active noise cancellation of the dual microphone for a distraction-free listening experience. You can also pass audio through with a transparency mode.

As for battery life, expect to hear up to 7 hours before putting the Klipsch T5 II ANC earbuds back into the charging case, allowing for an additional 21 hours of usage. If you activate ANC, this will be reduced to 5 or 15 hours. When it’s time to refuel, there’s a USB-C input that’s also coupled to Qi charging.

Available for purchase now

Enter with a $ 299 Price tag, these are now available directly in the Klipsch online shop and from the authorized dealer Worldwide Stereo.

As we’ve seen from Klipsch in the past, the brand will also launch a more unique pair of the new T5 II ANC earbuds with a partnership with McLaren in tow. These offer the same functions as the standard equipment, come with a carbon fiber design in addition to McLaren’s characteristic papaya color and a molded outer shell that is supposed to imitate the tread pattern of a real Formula 1 racing tire. There is also wireless NuCurrent charging, which allows for even faster refueling than the standard version. All of these changes bring the price to $ 349.

Klipsch is also leveraging some newly discovered AI chops for its latest earbuds this time around, and is working with Bragi to bring even more unique features to stand out. Various head movements allow you to take calls by nodding and more. Both models are compatible with the Klipsch Connect app, which offers various EQ adjustments and noise cancellation settings.

With Sony’s recent ANC earbud releases and long-rumored reports of Apple’s next generation offerings, the Klipsch T5 II ANC earbuds are sure to face an uphill battle. While the McLaren editions will surely conquer a part of the market with their unique design alone, both versions have to rely on the usual Klipsch sound quality to stand out. And if these are even nearly as polished as the current Cinema 1200 soundbar, then I am sure that they will offer a convincing experience.
