Since Formula 1 went into the summer break, there have been questions about Sergio Perez’s future at Red Bull Racing, as the Mexican apparently had to fight his teammate despite his win and podium place.

Red Bull advisor Dr. Helmut Marko recently claimed the team was considering other options for the second seat.
So, amid predictions about who might join Max Verstappen in 2022, F1 reporter Will Buxton decided to make his predictions beyond the 2022 season. And no matter how practical they are, they seem pretty interesting.

He expected Perez to stay until the end of the 2022 season. However, citing the resurgence of Mercedes, Red Bull would have no choice but to let go of Perez.
“We’ll start at Red Bull Racing, where my little scenario got the team driver and constructor glory in 2021 and decided to stay with Sergio Perez in 2022,” he wrote.
“A combination of your focus on the successful title fight from last year. And a resurgent Mercedes, however, made them struggle to keep up in 2022. “

Who will join Red Bull after 2022 alongside Verstappen?
Buxton believed that Red Bull would bring Lando Norris onto the team with a “breathtaking” deal. Obviously, that’s pretty inconvenient considering the Briton has remained loyal to his team since he started his F1 career in 2019.
But who knows? The fact that Red Bull is in such a laudable position could spark more interest in the McLaren driver. What is more interesting is that Buxton Norris predicts that he will win his first world title as early as 2024.
“At the end of the season, Red Bull caught the man they’d had their eye on since early 2021 and shocked the paddock by announcing that they had lured Lando Norris away from McLaren. After paying a staggering sum to put a suspension clause in his contract, he immediately connected with the team, ”he said.

“Second in the constructors’ championship in 2023, Verstappen nevertheless took the driver’s crown. In 2024, Norris will win the world championship while Red Bull take successive team wins. They go back as favorites for 2025, ”added Buxton.

Overall, as the title suggests, these are predictions by Buxton. But that does not necessarily mean that these scenarios will no longer occur in the future, even if his prediction with Red Bull seems a bit too far-fetched.
But what if they manage to sign Norris alongside Verstappen? Could this be the F1 dream team in the future?
