Honda makes hospital children happy with electric toy cars

Shogo is designed for patients aged 4 to 9 years. Children in this age group can drive a car, although a driver is responsible for the maximum speed, which is between 1 and 8 km / h.

Standard features of the Shogo include a central seating position like a McLaren F1, soft-touch surface, easy-to-clean edges, a toy bucket, cup holder, a horn with various sound options and a customizable license plate with the driver’s name. There’s also a push bar if the caretaker wants to take over and, for obvious reasons, an IV pole.

Honda says Shogo is also part of its vision to manufacture 40% of its product range as electric vehicles by 2030. The next big EV model will be the Prologue, which is slated to hit the market in 2024. The cute Honda e isn’t intended for the US market, which means customers will either have to wait or get behind the wheel of the Clarity Fuel Cell.
