It was a great opening for McLaren as a team. They currently occupy third place in the rankings behind Mercedes and Red Bull. Damon Hill understands why Lando Norris made these comments public
Hill saw a few mind games against his new teammate in Norris’ comments. Before the season started, many expected the Australian Norris to dominate. However, this has not been the case so far. And although they are teammates, F1 is both an individual sport and a team sport.
When asked why these comments were made public, Hill argued, “Because you’re competing, that’s why. Everything comes into play. It’s the game. “

The Brit is not sure of the team’s chances in Baku. But on the other hand, it means that if Daniel can get into the top six it will be a huge relief for him and his fans.
The ex-Red Bull driver does indeed have some very fond memories of the place. He won in Baku in 2018, his last year with the Milton Keynes-based team. If he can get a result anywhere near then he will be a very happy man.
But only time will tell how history really turns out.
