GMA T.33, Toyota GR GT3, Toyota Kinto Factory: Car news headlines

McLaren F1 designer Gordon Murray is working on a new supercar. No, we are not talking about the T.50 supercar that he unveiled in 2020, but rather a new car that will be named T.33 – and which will have a naturally aspirated V-12 engine. Murray refers to the T.33 as a “supercar GT” and says the covers will be removed on January 27th.

Toyota will use the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022 this month to present a racing car concept in GT3 specification. A teaser suggests that the race car is not based on an existing Toyota model, and at this point it is not clear what Toyota plans for the car. It is possible that the automaker is planning a GT3 customer racing program to join its existing Supra-based GT4 program.

Toyota is making it easier for customers to hold onto their car longer. The automaker has launched a new factory restoration program that allows owners of older models not only to restore their cars, but also to upgrade them with the latest safety and convenience features.
