Giovinazzi enters Formula E.

Following confirmation yesterday that he will not stay with Alfa Romeo for the 2022 F1 season, Giovinazzi confirmed that he will join the Dragon Penske team in Formula E. He will partner with Sergio Sette Camara, whose spot on the team was announced earlier this week.

Team principal Jay Penske described Giovinazzi as “one of the most talented drivers in the world” and said his arrival will give the team one of the strongest line-ups in the series. The 2022 Formula E season begins on January 28 in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.

The completion of Jeddah “was always close”

FIA Formula 1 Race Director Michael Masi said building the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the first Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was inevitably subject to tight time limits. The first race, due to take place on December 5th, was announced on November 5th last year.

“It was always very close,” said Masi. “There is no doubt about that. But all I’ve seen, the progress, day after day, week after week. It’s been amazing since I was last there. “

Is it okay to be happy for Guanyu Zhou and sad for Antonio Giovinazzi at the same time? Both handsome guys.
