A Formula 1 car went on display at a garage for two days.
Whitworth Road Garage in Rochdale, welcomed the McLaren MCL35M Formula 1 car to the forecourt.
The Anwar family, who have owned the garage for more than 30 years, recently changed their fuel supplier to Gulf and took advantage of Gulf’s global sponsorship of the McLaren F1 team to coordinate the initiative.
Junaid Anwar said: “We thought that it would be great for the people of Rochdale to see an F1 car at close quarters.
“Outside of Silverstone it doesn’t usually happen and we knew it would create a lot of interest. Our regulars loved it and it attracted lots of new faces too which allowed us to showcase our services, our competitive prices and our large shop.”
