
In 2007, McLaren set up one of the “toughest” lineups of the season. Fresh from back-to-back titles, Fernando Alonso joined the team. In the other garage was a new rookie driver named Lewis Hamilton. In all fairness, “sharp” was a massive understatement because their rivalry was fierce and fierce.

However, the British and the Dutch should be mature enough to keep their dogfight on the line. In the meantime. Fernando Alonso will be content just to sit back and watch the spark. He knows he has no hope of fighting for a title again, but he can do his best to develop the Alpine car.
