McLaren has really come a long way from its struggles in the mid-2010s. They are currently the third best team on the grid and have an excellent driver line-up from Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo. However, their fate changed after they appointed Andrea Seidl as team boss at the beginning of the 2019 season.

Lando also mentioned the key role Seidl played in turning the team around. He said that Seidl really makes everything possible for the team and solves every problem they are faced with.

He always does the best possible job: Lando Norris
As Motorsport-total reported, the Brit stated that Andreas Seidl not only helps the team but also the driver. He also mentioned that Seidl knows he has to help improve the team in every way.
“Andreas helps with everything. He not only looks after the team, but also tries to help us drivers in the best possible way. He knows where the drivers, engineers and mechanics perform, ”said Norris.

“He knows that he has to do everything to help everyone. When we have problems or need something, he always does his best to make it available to us. It doesn’t matter how crazy or crazy it is, ”explained the young Briton.

Lando Norris mentioned that the team won’t be able to fight for the world championship until the 2023 season. He emphasized that the team needs a good wind tunnel to be successful in the sport.

“I don’t know when this opportunity will come. We still need a good wind tunnel. There are things that we just don’t compare to Mercedes or Red Bull. So we will have better chances in 2023 or 2024, ”said Norris.
McLaren is currently on P3 in the constructors’ championship. If they finish at P3, it would be for the second straight season that they would accomplish this feat.
