Daniel Ricciardo reveals whether he will "point the finger" after his poor qualifying show in Turkey

Towards the end of Q1 the Australian drove a decent lap time and reached P8. However, it appeared that he had measured his lap a bit earlier as others behind him could improve to overtake him. Ricciardo mentioned McLaren’s attempt to try a different set of tires to make the cut. However, he admitted that the car still didn’t make him feel like he wanted.

He said, “With some changes to the pit stop. If I put on the second tire to try, I’ll have a little more grip. We took a pretty big step, but the feeling still hasn’t really changed. So we got along a little with this tire, yesterday it was also tricky. But that’s it. “

Despite the events that took place in Intercity Istanbul Park, the honey badger believed that showing numbers was out of order. “I think when the track improves there is always a bit of timing, I think. Maybe I crossed line P8 and in the end I was P16.

“So it always helps to be the last. But at Turn 1 there were a couple of laps of yellow flags and stuff. So you get out of step. Ultimately, I wouldn’t point a finger. “
