Recently, a parent tweeted a picture of their 10-year-old son being bullied at school. The boy, who suffered bruises and other facial injuries from the thugs, also had his favorite McLaren hat taken away. The mother mentioned in the tweet how her 10-year-old son’s McLaren hat was plucked from his head and trampled on by his tyrants. This emotional and disturbing tweet immediately went viral on the internet and even reached McLaren F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian driver, known for his jovial personality, tweeted in support of the bullied child and tried to encourage him by saying that the bullies were “weak”. He even tried to cheer the victim by saying the bruises made him look harder. Finally, Daniel Ricciardo promised to get the young fan a McLaren cap along with some other McLaren goodies.
This gesture from Ricciardo earned him praise on social media while several other people stood up to support the boy who had the harrowing experience.
