A 26-year-old McLaren F1 coupe will be up for sale at auction in Pebble Beach in two months. Experts estimate it to be $ 15 million or more.
The Creighton Brown supercar is number 25 of 65 street legal units built. It has a cabin clad in light and dark brown leather and shows only 240 miles (387 kilometers) on the speedometer.
McLaren built the car for a Japanese collector, but it was later exported to the United States. The condition is described as perfect, most components, such as Goodyear Eagle F1 tires, show no signs of wear. The seller claims this F1 is the lowest mileage example in history that goes on the block. Those who buy it get additional OEM accessories with the deal.
Prices aren’t officially discussed, but one of two street-legal LM supercars raised $ 19.8 million a few years ago, which could well top $ 15 million.
