McLaren boss believes having a variety of sponsors to help the team grow
F1 is more than motorsport, it’s a business at the same time. To ensure their long-term plans on the grid, McLaren has therefore partnered with various companies to ensure their survival in Formula 1.
As quoted from GrandPrix247, Brown said, “I think the days of title sponsors writing the size of checks are over, and even with a title sponsor, I think you tend to get too many eggs in one basket.”

“I would prefer to distribute our sponsorship among a portfolio of partners. The other thing is, and Cisco WebEx has done a really great job with the global TV campaign, it’s really important that our partners activate us. “
“The more exposure Dells, Ciscos and DeWalts can bring to the McLaren brand around the world, the better than having all the eggs in one basket,” Brown concluded.
