McLaren is probably the king of high-performance cars at the moment. The legendary British manufacturer and racing team has produced some truly special cars in recent years, ranging from the 600LT to the Senna. And one of the most special has to surely be the Speedtail.
This epic car was McLaren’s first ever hyper GT and was first revealed in 2018. And one, very low mileage example is currently up for sale on Bring a Trailer for over $2 million.
Checking Out This Low Mileage Senna

Only 106 McLaren Speedtails were ever made, and it is incredibly rare that these ever come up for auction. This particular example is number 60 of the 106 cars. The teardrop profile makes this the most distinctive of modern McLarens, and it has a top speed of 250 mph.
The glass cockpit canopy, dual hydraulically actuated ailerons and the dihedral doors are just some of the standout features. This particular Speedtail is in matte white, with a front splitter, rear diffuser, and side skirts made up of titanium-infused carbon fiber. There are some options on this car too, such as the visual carbon fiber engine cover and platinum McLaren and Speedtail rear badges.
Under The Hood Of The Speedtail

The Speedtail has a 4.0-liter M480T V8 engine under the hood, which is a modified version of the twin-turbo, flat-plane power plant that we saw in the McLaren 720S. There is also a 1,647 kWh battery with an electric motor working with the engine to produce a staggering 1,035 hp in total. The power is then sent to the rear wheels thanks to a Graziano seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, controlled with paddle shifters. Carbon ceramic disc brakes help to give the Speedtail plenty of stopping power.
Stepping Inside The Speedtail

If we step inside the Speedtail, we are then presented with a truly extraordinary interior. There is a three-place seating configuration, a node to the McLaren F1, which had the same seating arrangement. This sees the driver positioned centrally in the car and forward of the two passengers.
There is white semi-aniline leather covering the seats, door panels and sills and more. This Speedtail is virtually as new, with just 23 miles on the clock, and presented in utterly immaculate condition. The car will come complete with “show or display” paperwork, the complete owner manual, a clean Carfax report as well as a clean Nevada title as well. The bidding stands at $2,350,000 at the time of writing, with six days to go.
