The love for each other was always there for Schumacher Jr. and his countryman Vettel. However, it came to a broader light this season. Apart from hanging out with each other at the F1 paddock, the duo often join hands together for off-sport activities.
As the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix just concluded, Sebastian was caught looking for Mick once again. As Seb crossed the finish line in P8, he asked his race engineer about Mick.
Vettel’s race engineer was informing him about the race classification when the former Red Bull driver asked, “Where did Mick finish?”
The race engineer replied on the radio with a sigh, “P17.” Vettel further asked, “He (Mick) had an issue in lap 1, right?” To which the engineer responded that he didn’t know the reason.
Interestingly, Michael Schumacher, Mick’s father, and seven-time world champion shared a similar, if not better, relationship with the Aston Martin driver.
