Mick Schumacher experienced a rather unpleasant race at the British Grand Prix, as he was the last driver on the track to see the checkered flag. However, that didn’t stop the German from winning the hearts of some fans in the stands who were eagerly waiting for his wave.

After the race ended on Sunday, Mick was about to take the cooldown lap at Silverstone when his radio popped up. It was his race engineer Gary Gannon with a special wish for the son of the seven-time world champion.
And of course, given the duo’s relationship this season, Mick would never turn down his race engineer’s request.

What was Gary’s wish after the F1 race at Silverstone?
The race engineer popped up on team radio when Mick was strolling through Turn 9, the corner that sparked massive controversy earlier that day.
“My family is there somewhere at 10-11-12. You can wave to them, ”said the race engineer to the Haas F1 driver. Mick spontaneously held out his hand and started waving to the fans. He continued to reply to Gary and said, “I’m in!”
Mick and Gary have one of the healthiest driver-race engineer relationships F1 has ever seen. You may have noticed how Gary values the rookie in every F1 race. In addition, the race engineer prefers to stay calm even in chaotic moments on an F1 weekend so as not to panic Mick.

Mick was pretty unstoppable in qualifying. The Schumacher Jr has made a massive change in tempo on Saturdays this season. It cannot be denied that the German also flies in Hungary.
And the position of the track is very important around the Hungaroring, considering that there are no overtaking opportunities on the track. So will Mick manage to deliver a strong result on Saturday and possibly make points on Sunday? Well only time will tell.
