The newly branded Uralkali Haas F1 Team and its new driver tandem of rookies Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin are traveling to Bahrain this week and testing the new VF-21 challenger for the 2021 season for three days.

The three-day test begins on Friday with Schumacher in the morning and Mazepin in the afternoon.

Late last week, Haas revealed pictures of its new paint job for 2021 with the team’s new title sponsor, Uralkali. On Friday morning, before the test, the team will remove the cover from their cars. According to the Haas F1 Team, Uralkali is one of the world’s largest potash fertilizers. Uralkali belongs to Dmitry Mazepin, the father of Haas driver Nikita.

Dmitry Mazepin is listed on the Uralkali website as a non-executive director and vice-chairman of the board of directors. He has been a member of the company’s Board of Directors since 2014.

The sponsorship contract is a multi-year contract.
