Mick Schumacher’s uncle has again questioned the “sense” of rumors that the young German could switch from Haas to Alfa Romeo in 2022.
Ralf Schumacher, the younger brother of the 22-year-old Mick’s father and F1 legend Michael, has already wondered whether an affair on the starting line-up is the right thing for Mick.
“If it were a top team, it would be a great opportunity for Mick,” Ralf told Sky Deutchland.
“But I’m not sure if Alfa Romeo is really the better option. Mick can still learn a lot at Haas.
“We mustn’t forget that a young driver quickly needs six months to establish himself in a team and to get the most out of what he has. I think working with Ferrari is much more important to him. “
“It seems to be working well so far – even with his current team,” added Schumacher, 46.
