Tickets are available now when Formula 1 drives back into Austin's COTA

Motorsport fans look forward to the return of the world’s fastest and most prestigious racing series to Austin.

Tickets will be available starting Tuesday April 27th for the Formula 1 Aramco 2021 Grand Prix of the United States, which will take place at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin from October 22nd to 24th.

Although COTA has hosted the annual US Grand Prix since 2012 and is grossing several million dollars for the Austin economy, the return of F1 to the popular Austin circuit is particularly anticipated this year. Last year’s US Grand Prix was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. In fact, much of the 2020 F1 season has been disrupted by the pandemic, forcing the Elite Series to cut several races back and revise their planned schedule.

For the triumphant return to Austin, a variety of tickets are available for this year’s F1 racing weekend, including tickets for three-day general admission (from $ 189) that gets you in the door but requires a chair or blanket Sit down to watch the race from the slope. Three-day grandstand tickets (from USD 249) with seats in COTA turns 9, 12 and 18 are also available. With three-day premium grandstand tickets (from USD 350), you get seats in the main stand and the three With the Day Flex Pass ( from 450 USD) ticket holders can watch the races every day from three different seats.

Die-hard racing fans should check out the Geico Camping & RV options (starting at $ 600). Shared and private hospitality packages are also available.

New this year: Reserved seat tickets will be offered in Turn 18 and Turn 19. The new hospitality options include the Twenty12 Lounge, Podium Club and Tower Club areas. Premium upgrades are available on the route for both concert experiences.

Of course, many Austinites will be drawn to these over-the-top musical performances (more details will be released shortly) and the on-site rides and dining options, but with the 2021 F1 season now in full swing. In the-the-metal mode, local racing enthusiasts are ready for seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton – by far the fastest man in the world – on his way to Austin.

Although some not entirely unforeseen race results have been achieved this season, team shakeups give way to some interesting relationships on the track. Particularly noteworthy is the F1 return of the legendary driver Fernando Alonso and the addition of Mick Schumacher (son of the record-breaking F1 champion Michael Schumacher). He joins the US-based Haas F1 racing team after Romain Grosjean miraculously and narrowly escaped certain death last season when his Haas car hit a wall and went up in flames at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Whichever of the 20 teams and drivers beats in your heart, the return of F1 to COTA marks an exciting and historic crossroads and cannot be overlooked.
