Formula 2 driver and 2021 Haas F1 team pick Nikita Mazepin faces the fire today after he was accused of fondling a woman and posting the incident on his own Instagram page.
The incident, which shows Mazepin’s actions in a moving car, also prompted the Haas F1 to react on social media.
The now deleted 22-second video post can be easily browsed online by followers who copied and shared the post before 21-year-old Mazepin had the opportunity to delete it. Mazepin was recently named as one of two drivers for the Haas Formula 1 team in 2021.
Mazepin does not deny the groping incident and apologized for his action on social media on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Haas F1 also issued a statement: “The Haas F1 team does not condone the behavior of Nikita Mazepin in the video recently posted on their social media. Furthermore, the fact that the video was posted on social media is, also disgusting to the Haas F1 Team. ”
