The Brazilian made his F1 debut at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix, replacing injured Romain Grosjean, who was recovering from his fireball crash on the previous lap in Bahrain.
In addition to his F1 commitments in 2021, Fittipaldi took part in three IndyCar laps, including the Indianapolis 500.
The 25-year-old also made his debut in the European Le Mans Series – he finished seventh in his debut race in Barcelona and also competed in Brazilian stock cars.
