the Uralkali Haas F1 Team go to the Italian Grand Prix this weekend in the hope of a more successful race compared to a week ago at Grand Prix of Holland.
The Dutch Grand Prix was a battle for the bottom, with Nikita Mazepin be forced to retire and Mick Schumacher languish behind. the Monza National Autodrome however, represents an opportunity for the team to finish the season’s third triple header on a positive note, particularly with the second Sprint Qualifier taking place this weekend.
Team boss Günther Steiner is looking forward to his home Grand Prix in Monza, where he hopes the second sprint qualifying will be as successful as the first.
“For me, Monza is the race that is closest to my hometown. So as an Italian, it’s a big emotion. Monza is a great race on the calendar – it’s very historic. My first race there was when we finished third on the podium with Eddie Irvine and Jaguar. I want to go back to the good old days.
“The sprint qualifying at Silverstone was successful. I think there is always things to learn and things to do better, but we didn’t make a huge mistake so we just try to make the whole process smoother, better and get the most of it. “
