Get a glimpse of the Mercedes-AMG 24-hour F1 factory

The video, titled The Night Shift, shows that while it gets quiet when the sun goes down, the factory is very much alive and even the receptionists are on duty. The first point of contact is at 12.30 p.m. in the Composite Clean Room, where one of the Mercedes-AMG F1 engineers explains a few things. First, there is a two hour handoff between shifts with all staff on deck to make sure there is never a time someone is out of work. He also explains that during this transition he will start working on the carbon composite chassis components before moving into chassis development. The night shift starts at 8 p.m. and ends the next morning at 6:30 a.m.
