Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has claimed F1 can now “choose where we want to go” with venues clamoring to join the burgeoning schedule.
The F1 calendar has grown rapidly in recent years with the additions of Miami, Qatar, Las Vegas and Saudi Arabia expanding the season to and potentially beyond 23 races.
But there is still more interest from venues seeking to join the party with a second Chinese race and South Africa mooted.
“I think in general, Las Vegas, a lot of people cannot wait to go there, we all like Sin City,” said Steiner.
“I think with the sponsors coming in, it will help.
“In general, Formula 1 is in a good place commercially. There are a lot of places that want a race, we can almost choose where we want to go.
“I think Stefano and his team are doing a great job to organize it all and get the best out and getting into the American market is very good.”
Eyeing up potential sponsorship opportunities as the only team that races under the American flag in F1, Steiner added: “As we all know, it is the biggest economy in the world and there is a really good potential of growth.
“I think it is very good to go there, hopefully we can pick up some of these great sponsors.”
