When is it and how can I watch?

After an enforced two-year hiatus due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Formula 1 returns to a modified Albert Park track in Melbourne this weekend for the Australian Grand Prix.

It will be the first grand prix to be held in Australia since 2019, after the 2020 event was abandoned when a member of McLaren’s crew tested positive for COVID-19 in the very early days of the global pandemic.

Melbourne hoped to return to the F1 schedule in 2021 but the event was canceled for the second year running due to continuing international travel restrictions in Australia.
