Sainz took to social media to cheer and express his delight as his favorite football club reached the final of the Champions League for the 17th time. “In Miami but always Hala Madrid and nothing else!! Yes, yes, yes, we’re going to Paris!” wrote Carlos on Twitter.

There is a possibility that the Spanish driver might get a chance to attend the final in Paris. But before that, he will hope that he can sort his form into Formula One and challenge the front runners once again.

Carlos Sainz reveals the reason behind his struggles in 2022

The Ferrari driver struggled at the beginning of the 2022 season when compared to his teammate and championship leader Charles Leclerc. He has stood on the podium twice in the first 4 races of the season while the other two have been retirements. It is quite clear to see that he has not gotten comfortable with the new car yet.

“I’m glad I look from the outside comfortable. On the inside, it’s not comfortable yet. I’m still not as smooth as I’d like to be, and mistakes like [in qualifying] prove that maybe I’m still not 100% happy with the car and understanding it fully. But I’m hustling out there,” said Carlos.

“I’m trying my best to get it up to my liking, to change my driving– and mistakes are going to come when you’re challenging yourself like that,” said the Ferrari driver.

Although it is a long season and the Spanish driver has time on his hands to mount a comeback, he really needs to make himself comfortable as soon as possible with his F1-75.

The current challenge he has on his hands is to become more competitive in the upcoming races. Hopefully, being in the party-like atmosphere after Madrid’s win will change his mindset and make him more confident ahead of the Miami GP.
