It is a dream for almost every driver to get behind the wheel of a Ferrari at least once in their career. How many Formula 1 legends drove for Ferrari before, including Niki Lauda, Phil Hill, Kimi Räikkönen, Felipe Massa, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel and one of the most successful drivers in Formula 1, Michael Schumacher.
Even so, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc debunking the myth that driving for one of the most successful teams in Formula 1 is not extremely stressful.

Driving for Ferrari, not as if it wouldn’t let us sleep: Carlos Sainz
In a YouTube video, Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz answer hilarious fans’ suspicions. The Monégasque driver read the question to Sainz: “It’s extremely stressful and the expectations are high [to drive for Ferrari] is that true?”
The Spaniard replied: “The expectations are high, that’s true. Is it extremely stressful, I don’t think so, at least I didn’t feel more stressed this year than in other years of my career. It’s like getting used to the pressure, getting used to the expectations. “
“Yes, we feel responsible for driving this great team, but it’s not that it doesn’t make us sleep or anything. We sleep very well, ”adds Carlos Sainz.

It was a decent weekend for Ferrari at Zandvoort as Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished P5 and P7 respectively, securing enough points to outperform McLaren in the constructors’ championship.
Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz was understandably confused by the slow pace of his Ferrari at the Dutch Grand Prix, even though he had a 1-2 in the second free practice.

“I’m very confused at the moment because I haven’t had any pace since lap 1 of the race. I really had to struggle with the front and tires, ”said Carlos Sainz after the race.

“I was wearing the tires, it felt like I was sliding a lot and I couldn’t keep up with the pace I had on Friday. That means we have to see what went wrong because honestly I’ve never felt this slow in a race. I struggled a lot and had absolutely no speed. “
