During the dominance of Ferrari, Binotto was the head of the engine division. Schumacher called him the third most important person on the team after Jean Todt and Ross Brawn.

“So now we have the third important man. The piece between the rear wing and the driver is the engine, and that is Mr. Binotto. I would like to introduce him to you.

“He’s the engineer and now, so to speak, the head of the engine group, Mr. Binotto, and maybe you explain a little bit what you do in the car on the race weekend,” introduced Michael Mattia.

“During the race weekend I worked on the reliability and made sure that the engine of Michael’s car was working properly,” said Binotto, explaining his role in the functioning of the team. In order to achieve absolute reliability and the best performance from the engine, it is important that we speak to Michael to get his feedback on how to achieve this. “

“Exactly, thank you. See you at the meeting, ”concluded Schumacher.
