WATCH: Sainz is trolling Leclerc for being on the F1 plane to Baku. “fucked up”

Since Carlos Sainz teamed up with Charles Leclerc at Ferrari, there have been many ridiculous moments between the duo, with their relationship showing signs of strengthening with each F1 weekend.

Sainz managed to capture a similar moment with Leclerc when he drove to Baku for the race weekend. While the Spaniard was recording the video, the Monegasque was in the limelight for his priceless responses.

Sainz posted a hilarious story on Instagram while traveling with his Ferrari teammate on a flight to Azerbaijan. The video shows Leclerc holding onto his dear life when the ride got a little bumpy, possibly due to the turbulence.

The video begins with Leclerc eagerly peeking out the window with a touch of fear on his face. Meanwhile, Sainz took advantage of his teammate’s ignorance as he began recording the entire scene.

Seconds later, Leclerc notices that Sainz’s phone is pointing at him when he asks the Spaniard what he is doing. And the duo laugh out loud, with Leclerc ultimately admitting that the flight moved a little too much.

The Monegasque clings to the armrests on either side of his seat while Sainz can’t stop giggling. The new Ferrari driver also wrote an amusing caption. “Someone ‘shit’ themselves,” was the caption from Sainz.

While the highly anticipated Sainz and Leclerc could potentially spark some rivalry within the team at Ferrari, the reality seems far from it. Interestingly, the duo could even be considered one of the best team-mates since the duel between Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz last season.

Can Ferrari F1 extend the shape of the Monaco GP to Baku?

The Maranello team looked strong enough to take pole position at Monte Carlo. And Leclerc has rightly succeeded. Despite missing the race win, Sainz minimized the team’s heartache by securing P2 in the race.

Now a big question arises. Can Ferrari continue its triumphant advance in Baku? Even though Ferrari delivered in Monaco, that doesn’t mean they could do a similar feat on the streets of Baku. Ferrari has much better straight-line stability this season.

But their rivals McLaren will not give in either, especially with a powerful Mercedes-PU behind them. Therefore, Norris in particular could play spoilsport for Ferrari next weekend. Who knows? The young Brit could also secure his third podium of the season.

Despite such a threat, can the Scuderias hold off McLaren to ensure another strong end to a racing weekend? Only time can tell.
