The Saudi Arabia Grand Prix saw many accidents in its first Formula 1 race. In the session on Saturday Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen fell, now in the race on Sunday it was Mick Schumacher who landed in the wall.

As the Haas rookie sped across the track, he lost control when he got into a car in the blink of an eye. The German driver crashed into the crash barriers with his Ferrari engine.

Many were looking forward to the first F1 race in Saudi Arabia, a fast-paced circuit that could make for an exciting race. However, there were a few falls during the Grand Prix weekend and now in Sunday’s race it is Schumacher Jr. who was eliminated from the race after a terrible fall.
As Mick pushed his Haas to the limit, he seemed to have lost control when he pulled into Turn 22 in Jeddah. Schumacher soon found himself in the barrier, similar to Leclerc’s crash, which the F1 community witnessed in FP2. A safety car was brought out, but the FIA soon abandoned the session.

No points for Mick in Jeddah
The German would have hoped to have collected his first F1 points so far this season. But Mick would have to wait for the last race in Abu Dhabi for that.
After his terrible fall at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the 22-year-old wants to get back on his feet for the last race of the season. After Schumacher showed in qualifying that he can crack Q2, he is looking forward to racing through Yas Marina in the hope of scoring his first F1 points of his rookie year.
