
It’s been two long years since Formula 1 raced at the Circuit of The Americas in Texas, but this weekend the sound of F1 engines will once again fill the track at the United States Grand Prix.
But before we start, we dug up the highlights of the last race in Austin – back in 2019.

On that day, Valtteri Bottas started from pole position with Sebastian Vettel – at that time still with Ferrari, of course – next to him from the front row. Unfortunately his race didn’t last long as a suspension mistake knocked him out on lap 8.
At the top, Bottas and Lewis Hamilton fought hard for victory – and although it was the Finn who was ahead of the game that day, second place was enough for Hamilton to take his sixth world title. Click Play in the video above to see all the action in the race …
