Former teammates and future teammates

One of the more surprising pairings revealed are former teammates Esteban Ocon and Sergio Perez. Once in a partnership at Force India, the two drivers didn’t have the friendliest time together.

It’s an alliance marked by accidents and bad blood. It will be interesting to see how the two drivers share the microphone in Sochi. The two are at very different stages of their careers compared to their time at Force India. Both Grand Prix winners with a secure future with good teams, you can only expect fruitful discussions between the two.

Raikkonen and Vettel also make it to the reunion of the teammates. After missing two races, Kimi Raikkonen returns to Formula 1 and will spend the conference with Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel. Both champions are likely to have very conflicting talks as Aston Martin has confirmed Vettel for 2022 – a season Kimi will not be attending.

As a former teammate, Valtteri Bottas will join the stage with the driver who could accompany him next year; Antonio Giovinazzi is still unconfirmed for the 2022 season. Still, it will be exciting to see what the two drivers have to say.
