Ronaldo misses Juventus training to visit Ferrari headquarters

Cristiano Ronaldo missed a Juventus training session on Monday to visit Ferrari’s Formula 1 headquarters in Maranello, Italy.

Ronaldo visited Juventus President Andrea Agnelli and John Elkann, Exor President and Ferrari Chairman. Exor is the holding company of the Agnelli family, which controls Juventus and Ferrari.

In Maranello, home of the Ferrari F1 team, which has built racing cars since 1947, Ronaldo posed for a photo with drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

Both drivers received a signed Juventus shirt with Ronaldo’s name and icon number 7 on it.

After several reports in Italy, Ronaldo also received a new Ferrari road car.

Ronaldo’s future at Juventus is uncertain. He has a contract until the end of the 2021/22 season but according to various reports in Italy he will try to leave the club this summer if he does not qualify for the Champions League.

With three games remaining, Juventus are currently one point behind last place in the Champions League in Serie A. Ronaldo is the competition’s top scorer with 27 goals.
