I think Michael Schumacher is at least as good as Sennas: Eddie Irvine

As reported by Motorsport Magazine, Irvine was pondering the events of the 1993 Japanese Grand Prix when he met Senna on the track. He spoke a few words about the incident and the behavior of the Brazilian legend after the race.

“I think this guy has a serious problem, he thinks he’s a gift from God to the racing driver. It’s a marble game, but I want to keep all the marbles, ”said Irvine.

He later said, “I thought he was the best driver by far. I don’t think that’s really the case now, I think Schumacher is at least equal. I think Häkkinen will make it very difficult for him. “

Lewis Hamilton has surpassed almost every Michael Schumacher record in Formula 1. But this year he’s on the verge of breaking a Schumacher record that nobody thought possible – most world championships.

Last year, Hamilton won his seven world championships, setting the German’s record. Now he wants to break the record in 2021 and hopes to win his eighth world title.

His biggest rival in the championship is Red Bulls Max Verstappen. Unfortunately for Lewis, the Dutchman has the upper hand at the moment; he leads the seven-time world champion by 18 points in the drivers’ standings. However, Lewis has 15 races ahead of him to fill the void and cement his name at the top of motorsport’s premier league.
