Sainz & Leclerc predict new tire problems for Ferrari F1 at Silverstone

The Ferrari F1 team’s newest duo, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, certainly turn out to be one of the best teammates the Reds have seen in decades. Not only do they respect each other on the track, but they also lead pretty hilarious jokes.

One such banter took place blindfolded on a simulator during the esports challenge by Ferrari. Leclerc was blindfolded on an Italian racetrack. The task was to get his Ferrari FXX-K home without looking at the screen while an instructor led him around. But how did he do justice to this rather bizarre task?

Well, unsurprisingly, it was an absolute mess, as Leclerc had no idea where he was going. The task became even more interesting, however, when Sainz showed up at the crime scene while the Monegaske spent his time on gravel rather than asphalt.

Watching his teammate find it difficult to keep the car on the track, Sainz couldn’t resist but dig into Leclerc frequently.

Skirmish between Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc during the Ferrari Challenge

It was Leclerc’s job to do a blindfold tour of Imola. How hard was it? Well, all Leclerc had to say throughout the lap was how difficult it was to keep the car on the track. As he went into the first corner, Leclerc said: “Buddy, this is so difficult”.

The teacher kept telling Leclerc to “go to the right,” but he never did. So Sainz soon came into the picture and yelled in the ears of the Monegasque: “Further to the right”. And again Leclerc replied: “Buddy, this is so difficult”.

Leclerc continued to drive against the barriers on both sides of the track until Sainz had to give his verdict on his teammate. He hilariously demanded that Ferrari withdraw Leclerc from the team.

“Please retire this guy. It’s useless, ”said Sainz. Leclerc soon repeated for the third time how difficult the challenge was: “Buddy, this is incredibly difficult.”
