However, both Ferrari drivers turned out to be wrong as they managed to build a pretty healthy relationship.
Amid the growing bromance between the duo, new signing Sainz made a pretty strong claim on his Monegasque team-mate.

The Spaniard said that Leclerc is currently one of the biggest drivers in the field. He also praised Leclerc’s incredibly consistent qualifying performance.
What did Carlos Sainz say?
Speaking to the BBC, Sainz said that his teammate is the best qualifier in the current F1 grid. “If you want to test your qualifying speed against anyone, it’s against Charles Leclerc,” said the newly hired Ferrari driver.
“I think he’s the best qualifier in the field. Today he is one of the greatest, if not the greatest talent in Formula 1. And now I’m actually learning why he performs at such a high level. “

Leclerc took pole positions in the last race weekends in Monaco and later in Baku.
Given how dominant Ferrari’s one-lap pace has been this season, there’s no denying that the Maranello team are also favorites for the Le Castellet race weekend.

The former McLaren driver thought Leclerc was quite exceptional at team building. In addition, he revealed that his Ferrari teammate has a number of strengths that propelled him to the top of the charts.
