Yesterday’s Formula 1 cars return to the world’s most famous road circuit at the Monaco Historique this weekend.
One month before the principality stage, the Monaco GP will take place after a one-year absence due to Covid-19. The 12th round of the historic event for vintage racing cars sets the scene around one of the most famous backdrops in global sport.

After a year delay for the final round of the popular event, the focus for the weekend of 2021 will be on Formula 1, with the 70th anniversary of Ferrari’s first win in the world championship being celebrated among the landmarks.
Two of the former Scuderia drivers who won the race – Frenchmen Jean Alesi and Rene Arnoux – are both in the field and will drive 312B3s in 1974, originally driven by Niki Lauda and Clay Regazzoni.

Six of the seven groups feature Grand Prix vehicles, including a pre-war section, as part of a bumper field of more than 90 participants with vehicles from McLaren, Lotus, Hesketh, Tyrrell, Brabham and other famous F1 names.
Qualifying takes place on Saturday, followed by the seven races on Sunday.
And that’s not all: IndyCar Round Two live on Sky F1
On the Sky F1 television channel you can watch the second round of the new IndyCar season starting Friday with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg at the weekend.
After a dramatic start to the season at the Alabama Grand Prix, won by Alex Palou on his Chip Ganassi debut and finished in 10th place for series debutant Romain Grosjean, the championship for one of IndyCar’s most famous events is moving to Florida.
All sessions are live on Sky Sports F1, with the race on Sunday at 5 p.m.
