According to the German magazine Bunte, Schumacher’s wife Corinna has offered the 20,000 square meter property for sale. The real estate agent responsible for selling the family property describes it as “extremely peaceful and safe property”. The Schumacher family bought the ‘Sur le Moulin’ property for the equivalent of 3.5 million euros when Michael wanted to win his fifth F1 world title in 2002.
The family renovated the property and expanded the ranch into a horse farm. Now the quaint mansion is for sale for just over £ 5 million.
It was revealed late last month that Schumacher’s family allowed rare footage of the Formula 1 legend to be released as part of a new documentary about him as he continued to recover from his terrible injuries.
Private recordings appear in ‘Schumacher’, which was created by German filmmakers Michael Wech and Hanns-Bruno Kammertons.
The documentary also shows Schumacher’s wife Corinna, his father Rolf, his daughter Gina-Maria and his son Mick, who entered the F1 scene with the Haas team.
Schumacher’s manager Sabine Kehm, who is now acting as the family spokeswoman, said: “The film shows Michael’s impressive career, but also many facets of the complex man.
“The merciless and daring Formula 1 driver, the ambitious athlete, the accomplished mechanic with a unique technical flair, the reliable team player and the loving family man.”
Benjamin Seikel, co-producer of the documentary, praised the Schumacher family for allowing them to make this new documentary.
He said: “We are very pleased about the trusting cooperation between Michael Schumacher’s family and management.

Schumacher was brought out of a coma after 250 days in 2014 and taken to a hospital in Lausanne, Switzerland, before being allowed to return to his home on Lake Geneva.
At the time, his manager, Ms. Kehm, said: “Michael left CHU Grenoble to continue his long period of rehabilitation. He is no longer in a coma.
“We would like to thank the entire team at CHUV Lausanne for their thorough and competent work.”
She added that Schumacher was facing a “long and difficult road”.
In recent years, however, details about Schumacher’s health have been kept secret, and his family chose to keep public statements to a minimum.
Jean Todt, the president of the F1 governing body who oversaw five of Schumacher’s seven world titles as head of the Ferrari F1 team, announced last year that he had visited the sports legend and informed him of his condition.
He told the PA news agency: “I saw Michael last week. He’s fighting.
“My God, we know he had a terrible and unfortunate skiing accident that caused him a lot of problems.
“But he has a great wife next to him, he has his children, his nurses, and we can only wish him the best and the best for his family too.
“All I can do is be close to them until I can do something, and then I’ll do it.”
