Michael Schumacher was a party-goer who always came first and left at every event.
This is what the wife of the Formula 1 legend Corinna says, who together with the German racing driver revealed complicated details of her life before and after his tragic skiing accident in 2013.
Schumacher, who retired from the cockpit in 2012 after winning seven Formula 1 World Championships, suffered a serious brain injury while skiing with his son Mick in the French Alps.
He was flown to a hospital in Grenoble before undergoing two surgeries and being placed in a medically induced coma for six months.

She not only went into the accident and the current condition of the 52-year-old, but also reflected Schumacher’s character and how he was a sociable, party-loving man.
“He loved it. We laughed so much, had so much fun,” said Corinna.
“The kids still remember it was always fun. Michael loved throwing people in the pool. We all ended up in the pool all the time – that was Michael’s thing. Even at our wedding, people got into the Thrown pool.

“He couldn’t sing very well. But he always sang My Way because he knew the lyrics.”
“He’s just the most lovable person I’ve ever met,” she added.
“I made him dinner once on his birthday. He was the only one helping me tidy up and doing the dishes, and I thought, ‘This is a real guy!”
