Before the Monaco Grand Prix, Sainz and his teammate Charles Leclerc were brought together for the drivers press conference. Sainz believes that although he knows both cars, they will be very different this season.
The 26-year-old said: “I know that and I obviously share it with my team. And that’s exactly why the cars are actually very, very different.
“And my driving style and the way I turn, how I brake, how I carry speed through corners, in different places and in different types of corners, is very different from last year.”

“But when it comes to driving and balance, it doesn’t matter if it’s low speed, medium speed or high speed. They are completely different cars and I have to change and adapt a lot. “
After completing the first practice session in Monaco, Sainz has reason enough to smile after finishing second on the timesheet.
Ferrari will have two things to hope for; Her first hope would be for Sainz to score a big goal this weekend, while her second hope would be for Leclerc to end his losing streak at his home Grand Prix.
