
Since his debut with Toro Rosso in 2015, Max Verstappen has broken many records. In his first race, the Dutchman was the youngest driver ever to compete in Formula 1. A year later, on his debut with Red Bull at the Spanish GP, Verstappen became the youngest driver to win a Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen has made it a habit to break records and the Red Bull driver reached another milestone in the premier class of motorsport at the recently concluded Turkish Grand Prix.
In Istanbul Park, the 24-year-old comfortably crossed the checkered flag on P2, 14.5 seconds behind the winner Valtteri Bottas. In addition, the Dutchman has regained his lead in the drivers’ championship and is currently six points ahead of arch-rival Lewis Hamilton, who finished fifth.

And after Max Verstappen made his 12th place in the Turkish Grand Prix.
Verstappen and Lauda together occupy 15th place in the ranking, with Lewis Hamilton leading the list with 176 podium places.

Max Verstappen expects a “good fight” with Mercedes at the US Grand Prix
After the Turkish Grand Prix is over, the Formula 1 paddock will head towards Austin for the United States Grand Prix.
Since the US GP was added to the racing calendar in 2012, Mercedes has dominated the Circuit of The Americas, winning six out of eight races. Of those six wins, five went to seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, and he’ll be the favorite to win the race this season as well.
Despite the German team’s stronghold at COTA, Max Verstappen is confident that Red Bull can challenge them for victory.

As quoted by Planet F1, Max Verstappen said after the Turkish GP: “I think it was tight all year. And I’m pretty sure that it will be a good fight with Mercedes in Austin too. “
