“If Red Bull continues to do what they are doing now, I think we will have a good five years,” he added. “It’s a team, it has to do with people, with the organisation. At Red Bull that works perfectly in collaboration with Max.
“But also the team itself, just look when Schumacher went to Ferrari. He took half the Benetton team with him and then it worked. I hope Ferrari continues to do as they do now [laughs].”
Red Bull could clinch their first Constructors’ Championship title this weekend since 2013 at the United States Grand Prix. They hold a lead of 169 points over Ferrari and so long as they out-score their rivals by 18 points this weekend then they’ll take the title.
