The Dutchman has led a 251 lap race so far this season, while Mercedes’s Hamilton has only led 84 laps. In terms of points for the title, Verstappen continues to hold the lead in the Drivers’ Championship and hopes to keep Hamilton behind over the course of the 2021 season.

However, it has to be said that we have only finished the sixth round of the championship and there are still many races to be won. So we could see a change in the laps during a Grand Prix.
