“I never really thought of people who laughed at us. We focused on ourselves, ”he said. “Last year was definitely a difficult season to accept where we were.

“But I think the team did a great job accepting pretty quickly that we stepped back and have done our best since that moment.”
2020 was a memorable year for Ferrari and their avid fans as the inconsistency throughout the year was pretty unbearable. And it was ultimately reflected in the constructor’s table; Ferrari ended up in 6th place, a long way from its original goal of being in the top three.

This year so far has been a great relief for Ferrari, which has carried the burden of memories of the 2020 season. Although there wasn’t a podium finish for any of the drivers, the consistency was pretty impressive.
