The Austrian Grand Prix was an easy race for Red Bulls Max Verstappen as he won a fairly easy race for a second week in a row. After the race, former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson expressed dissatisfaction with the behavior of the authorities.

The McLaren driver feels a P2 finish has been stolen

When the 21-year-old driver was chasing the leader Verstappen, the Mexican Sergio Perez Norris chased and went outside at Turn 4. However, there wasn’t enough room for the two of them, which resulted in Perez walking in the gravel. This incident was deemed unfair by the FIA and they gave Norris a 5-second penalty and two penalty points.

However, Norris finished P3 and took a third podium for McLaren that season, but wasn’t happy with that as the time penalty robbed his chances of P2.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Norris said, “It’s his [Perez’s] Danger of walking around outside. He knows there is gravel there. They watch every other junior series; Every time someone tries to walk around the outside and don’t get involved, they end up in the gravel. I didn’t even squeeze him. You’re understeering around the corner anyway, he should have expected that he wouldn’t make it. I don’t know, I’m just annoyed because it cost us P2. “

Lando is now looking forward to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in two weeks in his home country. The 21-year-old is hoping for redress and is aiming for a P2 place to compensate for what was stolen from him in Spielberg.
