Most young drivers dream of becoming part of the renowned driver academy. The Ferrari connection could help them get on the F1 grid. The Italian team is simply not thinking about the present but also about the future as they want to add another driver to their program.
SoyMotor reports, the Maranello-based team shortlisted drivers from all over the world. Oliver Bearman from England, Tuukka Taponen from Finland, Rafael Chaves Camara from Mexico and Jesse Lacey from Australia.
The drivers arrived at the team’s factory yesterday and were physically and mentally tested to understand whether they could withstand the pressure on and off the track.

On Thursday you will be behind the wheel of a Formula 4 with used tires from the Italian F4 Grand Prix. Dino Beganovic and James Wharton were later added, the winners of the 2020 finals.

Can Mick drive for the Italian team in the future?
It’s no secret that the Formula 1 community would love to see a Schumacher in a Ferrari again. However, Mick ends his first season on the grid with Haas and could wait to get his seat on the red team.

Team principal Mattia Binotto hopes Mick will grow and learn in his debut season. He said: “Mick is in his very first year in Formula 1 for Haas. I think we said at the beginning of the season that the goal for him was not initially pressure, but to make sure he learns.”

“So 2021 has to be an important year for him in terms of learning. And I think if we look at that goal, he’s fine, ”Binotto concluded.
