Ferrari Poke Fun at Heartbroken Red Bull Amidst Awry End to Bahrain F1 Weekend

The start to the 2022 season could not have gone better for Ferrari. The Maranello team has been dominating ever since the start of pre-testing in Barcelona. And the season opener Bahrain GP was more of the same for them. Now that Ferrari is back on top, they took the chance to ridicule some of their less fortunate rivals on social media.

While Ferrari enjoyed a flawless weekend, some teams had a Grand Prix to forget. Red Bull being one of them. The team faced some suspected fuel pump issues on both cars that led Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez to DNF. Ferrari wasted no time in making fun of their rival’s misfortune.

The Tifosi were also loving it with their team being the top dogs in the paddock at the moment.

This joke will definitely not going to go unnoticed across the paddock. Red Bull will be waiting for a chance to get back with the team in Red at the earliest possibility.

The season opener served up the goods this past weekend. Teams enjoyed very contrasting fortunes in the new era. Ferrari did not put a foot wrong all weekend, securing a 1-2 finish with Leclerc and Sainz. Mercedes benefitted from some late misfortune of Red Bull to secure a podium with Lewis Hamilton.

Haas and Alfa also had a good showing with Kevin Magnussen P5 and Valtteri Bottas P6. Aston Martin and McLaren both had a race to forget after the high hopes they had for this season.

Alpine enjoyed a fairly decent outing with both cars finishing in the points. Williams could also have asked for a better showing this weekend and were fairly average. Now the teams have until the Saudi Arabia GP to sort out at least some of the issues they faced in Bahrain. How do you think the 2022 season is going to pan out?
