Ferrari has launched a standalone eSports competition for mobile devices that will run alongside its high-profile eSports series for the next three weeks.
Entry to the competition known as the Ferrari Mobile Esports Series is free through the Real Racing 3 platform on iOS and Android.
The event lasts until November 11th and consists of a time trial in hot laps on the famous Autodromo Nazionale di Monza with the Ferrari 488 GT3. Players simply need to set the fastest time they can during the entry phase.
There are a handful of steps players must go through in order to access the event. In addition to downloading the game – which is also free – you need to complete the tutorial, reach player level 4, and earn the car yourself through the Ferrari Mobile Esports Series Limited Series event.
From there, all you have to do is set your time in the Ferrari Mobile Esports Series time trial competition before November 11th.
There is a small selection of prizes for the top three worldwide, with the overall winner receiving a VIP experience at one of the rounds of the Ferrari Challenge 2022. This includes not only the race weekend itself, but also travel and accommodation.
The main prize also includes a Ferrari collection T-shirt signed by Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc and a “sponsor product” to be determined.
Second place went to a 1:18 model of the Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo from BBR Model, a Pilota Evo Limited Edition watch and a “Puma for Ferrari” sports backpack. Third place goes to a selection of items from the Ferrari Store, including rucksacks, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, umbrellas and trainers.
To qualify for the prizes, players must be at least 18 years old and live in a Participating Area, although a list of these prizes has not yet been published.
